Georgetown, Penang (15 June 2007) — Local real estate firm New Bob Realty Sdn Bhd has announced its recent strategic association with Hersing Corporation Ltd, a public listed company in Singapore that holds the exclusive ERA regional master franchise rights for 18 countries in the Asia Pacific by having an official signing ceremony in New Bob Realty's headquarters here in Penang.
The ceremony was graciously officiated by Dato Seri Dr. Hilmi bin Yahya, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Finance. Real estate agents in Malaysia fall under the purview of Ministry of Finance.
Effective 15 June 2007, the company will continue conducting business as New Bob Realty but in association with ERA by having the ERA logo along with its marketing and technical resources and will continue to serve consumers in the northern region of Malaysia from its HQ at Penthouse, New Bob Centre, 11 Jalan Gottlieb 10350, Penang and its other 4 branches within the region.
This strategic association that has been taking place between the two companies since late last year, began by inviting over representatives of ERA Singapore, #1 preferred real estate brand in Singapore to give a talk relating to the industry.
Apart from that, a systematic and comprehensive training has also started in order for existing and new agents of New Bob Realty to further bolster their knowledge and have a sound foundation in order to provide the best experience to their customers.
With ERA being a global brand leader in the real estate industry and having over 3000 offices worldwide in 45countries, this strategic association will allow New Bob Realty's customers even more choices not limited to within the country. In line with the Government's program Visit Malaysia 2007, ERA customers of other countries will now also be drawn to consider Malaysia as another option for either investment or permanent residence with this strategic association providing a link and easy access for them.
